Andrew M. Rosenfield, Chairman, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Rosenfield is an economist, lawyer and educator who has long been associated with higher education and has taught at The University of Chicago Law School. He was the founder, President and now the Chairman of Lexecon Inc., one of the country's premier economic consulting firms. He was educated at Kenyon College, Harvard University, The University of Chicago, and The University of Chicago Law School.

Richard P. Strubel, President, Chief Operating Officer. Dick Strubel is founder and managing director of Tandem Partners, Inc. Previously, he served as president and CEO of Microdot Inc., a manufacturing corporation with sales of $400 million. Prior, he was president of Northwest Industries, then a NYSE company with sales in excess of $3 billion. Strubel is a trustee of all the institutional and retail mutual funds managed by Goldman, Sachs & Co., as well as the institutional funds of The Northern Trust Company. He is a director of other companies, including Kaynar Technologies Inc. and Gildan Activewear, Inc. Strubel was educated at Williams College and Harvard Business School.

Donald A. Norman, Ph.D., President of UNext Learning Systems. Norman is a leading authority on human cognition and the interaction of technology and society. He is the author of numerous books, including The Design of Everyday Things, Things That Make Us Smart, and The Invisible Computer. Norman is Professor Emeritus at the University of California, San Diego where he served as chair of the departments of Psychology and of Cognitive Science. He has been an executive at Hewlett Packard and Vice President of the Advanced Technology Group at Apple Computer. Professor Norman was educated at MIT and the University of Pennsylvania. He has received an honorary degree from the University of Padua (Italy).

Brian M. Freeman, Executive Vice President for Corporate Development. Freeman is a highly experienced financial advisor specializing in complex transactions and was educated at both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School.

John P. Gould, Ph.D., President of Cardean. Jack Gould is a distinguished professor of economics and former dean of the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. Educated at Northwestern University and at The University of Chicago, Gould is the Steven G. Rothmeier Professor and Distinguished Service Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago. He served as Dean of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business from 1983 to 1993. Larry Silvey, Vice President and General Manager of Development. Larry Silvey, a noted expert in the field of education, has made significant contributions in human resource development and performance improvement. He is best known for his work in program development, strategy and analysis, international programs, and the use of education in advanced technology. Silvey pioneered the use of multimedia as a delivery method for teaching complex concepts. As former partner and managing director of Andersen Consulting Education/Technology Services, Silvey helped lead the development of the curriculum used at the company's world-famous training facility in St. Charles, IL.

Thomas M. Duffy, Ph.D., Chief Learning Officer. Duffy's academic career has been dedicated to exploring the design and use of information in education and the workplace. Duffy has published over a 100 papers on learning, performance, and technology. Books he has authored or edited include, Online Help: Design and Evaluation, Constructivism and the Technology of Instruction: A Conversation, and Designing Constructivist Learning Environments. Duffy came to UNext.com from Indiana University where he is the Barbara B. Jacobs Chair of Education and Technology and the Director of the Center for Research on Learning and Technology. Duffy earned his PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.

Enio Ohmaye, Vice President for New Business Development. Ohmaye is an experienced information technologist whose expertise is in integrating educational research, cognitive psychology and computer programming into multimedia learning environments. Formerly a scientist with Apple's advanced technology group, he has degrees in business administration and computer science, and earned his doctorate degree in artificial intelligence and education from Northwestern.

Pat Keating, Chief Financial Officer. Keating is both an experienced financial executive and academic administrator. LoriLee Sadler, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Sadler is the former Director of Academic technology development at DePaul University where she was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Edwin Eisendrath, Vice President for Corporate Communications and Learning Communities. A graduate of Harvard College, Eisendrath headed the six-state Midwest region of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and was appointed administrative receiver in charge of the federal takeover and turnaround of the 40,000-unit Chicago Housing Authority.
