[CSCI1323] (sent 1/27) homework 1 extra-credit problem

In class today we started problem 34 in section 1.2 but didn't have
time to finish it.  By request -- anyone who turns in a solution
by the start of class Monday will get extra points on Homework 1,
and we'll briefly talk about a solution in class before moving on
to our next topic (predicate logic).
