• SPIM, a MIPS simulator (includes documentation and downloadable source/executables for Windows and Unix).

  SPIM is installed on the department's Linux lab machines, as commands spim and xspim. On the RedHat 9 machines, you will need to copy the file /usr/local/spim-6.3/trap.handler to the current directory before starting the simulator.

• Puck on our network is a "real" MIPS machine. Here are some notes on using it.
