Student at Trinity University with exposure to a variety of Programming Languages and styles. Interest in functional development. Motivated to learn and develop new skills in companies of all sizes. I enjoy working with people from all departments and learning how companies work from both the technical and business sides.
Over Summer 2023 I worked as an Intern at Forcepoint. During this time I assisted in the development of training mateiral and the training of their help desk department for Beyond Trust. I also worked on the imaging and prepeartion of computers for new hires and current employees. During this time I was able to demonstrate by communication skills and my ability to quickly adapt to new assignments.
Spring 2023 I worked with a team in my software engineering class to develop a website that was intended to replace the current enrollment system used by Trinity University. During this time I worked on front end and back end web development, assisting in the creation of many pages in the website as well as working to implement features that were required for the project such as the enrollment of students in new classes. This project taught me what it was like to work in a team while developing software, the importance of code reviews, and the role that good communication can play in the development of good software.
